Pneumatic Structure - Ho'opili

Based off the Hawaiian word "Ho'opili", meaning to surround or embrace, this pneumatic embraces a tree, providing soft, vague gestures of the tree's form from the inside. A semi-translucent material is used to truly connect the exterior and interior environment.

It is a low pressure, high airflow inflatable structure capable of being sustained by one box fan. This is a demonstration of a design to build process.
